What to Include In Your Wedding Details

Wedding details are the very first thing we photograph when our team arrives on your wedding day! These are some of the little elements that help tell the story of your day and set the tone for the rest of your entire wedding gallery. Which is why they are some of our favorite things we get to photograph, and so important story telling through your images.

Here are some examples of details to have on your day to make the best possible detail shots for your gallery: (remember some of these may require extra planning to make sure you have!)

Bride details:

  1. Invitation suite (full suite)
  2. Shoes
  3. Rings + any jewelry
  4. Ring box
  5. Perfume
  6. Dress + veil
  7. Any extra ribbon, accents, or items of significance that represent the day
  8. Any gifts or notes from one another
  9. Bouquet and/or loose florals – Ask your florist to see if they can provide some leftover, loose flowers for the detail shots.
  10. Vow books

Groom Details:

  1. Cufflinks/Watch
  2. Cologne
  3. Suit & Tie
  4. Shoes
  5. Handkerchief
  6. Belt
  7. Boutonniere
  8. Extra accents or significant pieces a part of the grooms day
  9. Gifts or notes from each other
  10. Rings + ring boxes
  11. Vow Books

We always recommend having all these things gathered into a bag or box before our arrival so it’s easier on you and doesn’t take you away from what you’re doing when we arrive to go look for them. Asking a friend or bridesmaid to help be in charge of this can be a huge help!
