We have known the Campbell’s for several years prior to this session. In fact, we photographed Nicole’s sister’s weddings a few years back! So the Campbell family is near and dear to us.

But sometimes, a photography session becomes more than just capturing moments – it becomes a precious legacy. This was the case with the Campbell family’s fall session, an experience that left an indelible mark on our hearts.

During our time together, the bond between Tell, the father, and his wife and their two sweet children was truly palpable. Their love, laughter and connection radiated through every frame.

Little did we know that this session would hold even greater significance. Tragically, Tell unexpectedly passed away shortly after our time together and these images became the last professional photos of their family of four – a treasure beyond measure.

This experience reminds us of the profound importance of our work. We don’t just take pictures; we preserve memories in a way that creates something tangible that can last a lifetime. In the face of life’s uncertainties, these photographs become priceless heirlooms.
