A few years ago we shot Britlyn’s sister’s destination wedding in the beautiful state of Florida. At the time we providentially decided to take our kids and mother in law with us, and this trip served as the last family trip we had with Valor, as he passed away a month later. 

Because of these lasting memories created because of Britlyn’s family, when they asked us to photograph their engagement session- it was an absolute honor and joy to do so with the same passion we served their family with in 2021.

Britlyn & Colt’s engagement session in downtown Lubbock, and it was nothing short of spectacular. Britlyn had a vision for their shoot that perfectly blended modern elegance with traditional charm, and we were thrilled to bring her ideas to life.

Our session began in the heart of downtown Lubbock, where we focused on creating a modern, elegant atmosphere. Britlyn stunned in an all-black ensemble, while Colt complemented her perfectly in a suit. The urban backdrop provided the ideal setting for this sophisticated portion of their shoot.

As we finished downtown, we transitioned to a more traditional engagement session look. Britlyn changed into a breathtaking white dress, and we headed to a field close by just in time to catch the perfect sunset glow. The warm light beautifully illuminated the couple, creating a romantic and timeless atmosphere.

Throughout the session, the love between Britlyn and Colt was one everyone could see. Their connection exuded through every photograph, making our job as photographers a true joy.

This engagement session beautifully showcased how versatile and personal engagement photos can be. By incorporating both modern and traditional elements, Britlyn and Colt created a set of images that truly reflect their relationship and individual styles.
